RHISE Cup Businesses Rally to Donate Over 11,000 Pounds of Food to Support Local Families
Rochester Hills, MI – October 31, 2025 – This year’s RHISE Cup brought out the best of Rochester Hills’ business community. Through friendly competition and a shared commitment to giving back, 21 participating teams collected an incredible 11,202 pounds of food for the Neighborhood House Food Pantry, providing essential support to local families facing food insecurity.
That is enough to provide a family of four with three meals a day for more than a month, totaling 37 days of nutritious meals for neighbors in need.
“Neighborhood House is grateful to the City of Rochester Hills and participating RHISE Cup businesses for their partnership,” said Michael Dreon, Executive Director of Neighborhood House. “This collaboration comes at a critical time, helping ensure families in our community continue to have access to the food they need.”
The RHISE Cup, an initiative organized by the City of Rochester Hills, encourages local businesses to connect, collaborate, and engage in friendly challenges that strengthen community ties. The 2025 Social Challenge focused on addressing hunger in the community by collecting non-perishable food for the Neighborhood House Food Pantry.
The donated food will restock the Neighborhood House Pantry, which serves hundreds of local households each month across Rochester, Rochester Hills, Auburn Hills, Oakland Township, and Addison Township.
“When businesses unite for a cause like this, the impact extends far beyond the pantry shelves,” added Dreon. “It realizes our vision of a community of Neighbors Helping Neighbors Thrive.”
