Youth Ambassadors
The Youth Ambassador Program brings together student leaders from local high schools to serve the greater Rochester community. This program provides high school students with meaningful opportunities to develop leadership skills while making a positive impact in their neighborhoods.
As Youth Ambassadors, students work directly with Neighborhood House's Executive Director, Board of Directors, and staff to gain hands-on experience in civic responsibility, community service, public speaking, fundraising, and marketing. Through this collaboration, participants develop the skills and perspective needed to become responsible, caring citizens and future community leaders.
The program welcomes applications from all high school students in the greater Rochester area on an annual basis. Throughout the year, Youth Ambassadors volunteer at Neighborhood House events and assist with daily operations, earning service hours that can fulfill requirements for National Honor Society, Key Club, and other organizations.
