financial focus class

This class follows a Smart Money (FDIC) curriculum. Financial leaders in our community teach these classes (Flagstar, Bank, Raymond James, PNC Bank, among others). Topics discussed include emergency savings plans, paying yourself first, credit scores, budgeting, and more. We then pair our clients with a budget coach to continue working on their financial plans and budgeting for success.

Cooking Matters Class

Gleaner’s provides an instructor and materials to share Chef’s secrets, healthy eating tips for every budget, smart shopping ideas and recipes.

positive parenting Class

Facilitated by a volunteer with a Masters in Social Work, the course covers children of all ages and is presented in 6 sessions which are approximately 90 minutes long.  Each participant is provided with a book and workbook, and volunteers will be available on site to provide child care during each class session.
