On April 20th 2018, Neighborhood House will be the beneficiary of the 50/50 raffle at this year's Wine & Beer Tasting Fundraiser hosted by the Rochester Rotary at the Rochester Road Bordine's. The event includes new and unique wines from local distributors as well as incredible food from over a dozen area restaurants.

Tickets are just $50 per person but there are only 600 available so get yours soon. They'll be gone before you know it!

On January 13 and 14 Neighborhood House volunteers will collect donations from Kroger shoppers at 25 Mile and Dequindre to help feed our hungry neighbors this winter. You can make a big difference for a hungry neighbor.

You can help by contributing canned goods or personal items when you shop, by picking up a special $5 or $10 pre-packaged bag of food staples at your Kroger store, or by volunteering for a shift on one of the collection days.

It's that time of year! The Neighborhood House Giving Tree is a beloved annual event in our community. It requires many community organizations and individuals' time, talent and treasures. We hope you will participate this year!

We hope you will join us for Rochester Kiwanis & River Crest's annual “Pass the Pasta” event to benefit Neighborhood House on Wednesday, Nov. 15, 2017 from  5:30 - 7:30 PM. Enjoy 3 pastas, salad bar, sundae bar, & a beverage as well as a Silent Auction & Music. Tickets are $20 if purchased ahead of time or $25 at door. Tickets for kids under 12 are $9. 

Every year, Neighborhood House helps local children head back to school fully prepared. This year, Neighborhood House and Assistance League of Southeastern Michigan are excited to announce the "Blast Off 2 School" school supply drive. Neighborhood House will again provide 500+ backpacks and grade appropriate school supplies to families in need. Individuals, organizations and businesses can help by donating school supplies through July 31.

From now until September 10, a portion of all apple pie sales at Grand Traverse Pie Company (GTPC) in Rochester Hills will benefit the Neighborhood House Food Pantry. This is part of GTPC’s “Hunger Free Summer.” While the end of the school year means beach days and no homework to many kids, it also signals a time of year when families struggle to replace meals that were provided at school. The Neighborhood House Food Pantry provided over 236,000 pounds of food in 2016 to hungry families in the Greater Rochester and Auburn Hills areas. This is the third consecutive year that GTPC will be using proceeds from apple pie sales (slice, mini pies, and whole pies) to support food pantries. Thousands of meals were provided in 2015 and 2016 through this initiative. Co- Founder Mike Busley states, “Our children are our future and have every right to be fed nutritiously each day and we are delighted to help our new neighbors in Rochester Hills. Helping to strengthen the lives of children is such a great example of the ‘Power of PIE’ and our core values.”

Hungry for a good cause? Grand Traverse Pie Company is hosting a fundraising night to benefit Neighborhood House on May 23 from 4-8p.m. A portion of all proceeds will benefit Neighborhood House, a local nonprofit serving families and individuals in need in Rochester, Rochester Hills, Auburn Hills, Oakland Township and Addison Township.
