DHHS and Utility Program Application Support

Applying for assistance programs can be confusing. Neighborhood House volunteers can help clients understand the application process, gather the information they need, and complete applications for DHHS and utility assistance programs.

Our volunteers can help with:

• Completing DHHS applications
• Applying for utility assistance programs
• Understanding application questions and next steps
• Reviewing applications for missing information
• Navigating follow up requests from assistance programs

Clients should bring any documents related to the program they are applying for, including identification, income information, utility bills, notices, and other requested paperwork.
