Italian Dinner to Help Neighborhood House
Rochester Chambers Pinnacle Award winners Kiwanis of Rochester and Nino Tocco, owner of Rivercrest Banquet Facility, team up again this year to support Neighborhood House!
“Pass the Pasta”, an authentic Italian dinner, has become a traditional fall gathering for family and friends! The menu, includes three different pastas (mac and cheese included), a salad bar, garlic bread, beverages and a “make your own ice cream sundae” bar!
The fundraising dinner will be held on Wednesday, November 14, 2018 from 5:30 to 7:30 pm at the Rivercrest located at 900 West Avon Road.
Tickets are $20 Kids 12 and under $9
Proceeds from the evening will be directed toward Neighborhood House’s Capital Campaign Funds goal, to have the new facility at 1720 S. Livernois, paid off within five years.
Accordianist Renaldo DiCesare will stroll from table to table adding music and song to the festivities and the camaraderie of the evening.
Vino to accompany your pasta will be available at the cash bar!

Save the date for the annual bowling fundraiser for Neighborhood House hosted by our youth board! The event will take place on Saturday, December 22nd from 6pm-8:30pm at Avon North Hill Lanes (150 W. Neighborhood House is celebrating its 50th birthday, and this year we will also host our 8th annual Scare Away Hunger 5K Run/Walk. Your support of this event will make it possible to provide food, clothing, emergency financial help, job coaching, budget counseling, short-term mental health counseling, transportation and other self-sustainability programs to thousands of households in Rochester, Rochester Hills, Auburn Hills, Oakland Township, and Addison Township. Last year, Neighborhood House served over 3,200 families.
This year’s family-friendly Scare Away Hunger 5K Run/Walk will take place on Sunday, October 21, 2018 at Rochester College and will feature Lake Norcentra Park as well as the Clinton River Trail. Last year, we had over 400 participants. We hope to have even more this year!
