The Rochester Area Neighborhood House offers confidential counseling to qualified low income individuals and families. Individual counseling is available for a variety of needs including:

Counseling for Emotional Needs

  • Marriage, Family, Separation and Divorce issues
  • Parenting and Step-parenting
  • Depression, Anxiety, and Stress
  • Self-esteem issues
  • Grief and Loss
  • Adjustment Issues
  • Relationships
  • Coping with Retirement
  • Working
  • Caring for Aging Parents

Financial Counseling

  • Money management/budgeting
  • Income and expense planning

To receive counseling, you must receive a referral from one of our caseworkers.  Intakes for counseling are done during our intake hours at our Main Office Monday through Thursday from 11:30am to 2:30pm.
