Kelsey Jackson
Hi, everyone! My name is Kelsey Jackson and I am the Junior Ambassador for the June 2010-June 2011 term. I’m going to be a senior at Stoney Creek High School next year. I hope to attend college next year and possibly
move back to St. Louis, because it is where I am from and where my extended family still lives.
I keep myself very busy with school, work, family, friends, and after school activities. However, by keeping my priorities in order, I have learned the skills of balancing my schedule and multitasking. I plan on using these skills to
work with and fundraise for the Rochester Area Neighborhood House.
I am currently in the process of planning for college and figuring out how my family is going to pay for my education. This is an issue that I am very passionate about and that most teenagers face while they are in
high school. I would like to help ease this burden by working to create programs at the Neighborhood House that would help aspiring college students find a way to fund their educations. These programs would primarily focus on
offering assistance in finding financial aid and scholarships for those who need it in our community. Many students have amazing dreams for college but feel like they can’t acheive them, and I want to help!
With RANH, I also plan to introduce new technology and networking sites in order to make volunteering, donating, and fundraising with RANH easier, as well as to spread information and news faster.
