How to get help:

Rochester Area Neighborhood House is available for emergencies 24 hours a day, however our intake hours for financial assistance, food, or Clothes Closet services are Monday thru Thursday from 12:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. We have extended hours on Wednesday evening until 7:00 p.m. for those who are working. If you have questions about these services you can call 248-651-5836.

For ALL types of Assistance you will need:
1. Picture ID, Michigan Drivers License with current address or Michigan ID
2. Proof of Income, pay stub with year to date amounts,  DHS (formerly FIA) Statement, Social Security Statement, Unemployment, SSI, or Pension statements
3. 2006 Federal Income Tax Return, or W2's from 2006
 
For ALL Evictions or Utility Shutoffs you must have the above information plus:
Must apply at DHS first and receive a letter of determination which you will then bring to Neighborhood House along with the above documentation #1-3.
1. Letter of Determination from DHS
2. Original Eviction Notice or Utility Shutoff Complete Bill
3. Copy of Lease
4. Social Security Cards for all family members
